What is it?
Ambrolytin Syrup 15mg/5ml 100ml Bottle Composition: Active substance: Ambroxol hydrochloride 15 mg per 5 ml of syrup. Other excipients: Sorbitol (E420), Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Glycerol, Propylene glycol, Sodium saccharin, Citric acid monohydrate, Raspberry liquid essence, Purified water. Indication: Ambrolytin syrup contains the active substance Ambroxol hydrochloride. It helps to thin thick secretions in the bronchi, which are formed during various respiratory tract diseases. In this way, the preparation helps to eliminate them, relieves cough and improves breathing. It is used to relieve cough and expectoration in acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory system associated with the formation of thick secretions in the airways. Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Before using any medicinal product, consult your doctor or pharmacist for advice. The safety of using this medicinal product during pregnancy has not been established, therefore, its use during pregnancy is not recommended, especially during the first trimester. Ambroxol passes into breast milk. Although no adverse effects on the infant are expected, the use of this medicinal product during breastfeeding is not recommended. Driving and operating machinery: There is no data regarding the effect of Ambrolytin on the reaction speed and attention of drivers and machine operators. Dosage: Always take Ambrolytin exactly as instructed in this leaflet. If you are unsure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Ambrolytin is taken orally, during meals. The usual dose is: Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 ml 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days, after which the dose can be reduced to 10 ml 2 times a day. Children: 6-12 years: 5 ml 2-3 times a day. 2-6 years: 2.5 ml 3 times a day. Elderly patients: Elderly patients use the adult dose. Patients with liver and kidney diseases: Patients in this category use 1/2 of the dose recommended for adults. Do not use this medicinal product for longer than 5 days without a doctor's recommendation. If you think the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor. Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not freeze! Shelf life after opening the bottle: 1 (one) month.
