What is it?
AMELOTEX-NEW GEL 1% 50g TUBE Composition: 100g of gel contains: Active substance Meloxicam (calculated for 100% substance) - 1.0g; Excipients: Methylpyrrolidone, Ethanol 95%, Carbomer, Trometamol, Orange Blossom Oil, Lavender Oil, Purified Water. Indications: Symptomatic therapy of osteoarthritis accompanied by pain syndrome. Used for symptomatic therapy, to reduce pain and inflammation; does not affect disease progression. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to meloxicam and other components of the preparation (including other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs); complete or incomplete combination with bronchial asthma, nasal and paranasal sinus recurrent polyposis and intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including in anamnesis), violation of the integrity of the skin in the intended application areas; childhood (up to 18 years) (efficacy and safety not established); pregnancy. Precautions: Peptic ulcer and duodenal ulcer (in the exacerbation phase), active gastrointestinal bleeding; progressive kidney diseases, severe renal failure or active liver disease, confirmed hyperkalemia, inflammatory bowel diseases, elderly age, coagulation disorders, chronic heart failure. Use during pregnancy and lactation: The use of the preparation is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation. Dosage and administration: Externally. Do not use internally! Apply a 4 cm (2g) strip of gel twice a day in a thin layer to clean dry skin over the affected area and rub gently for 2-3 minutes. The duration of the course of therapy is determined individually, may vary depending on the site of the lesion and the expressed therapeutic effect, and should not exceed 4 weeks. Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
