AMELOTEX-NEW SUPPOSITORY RECTAL 15MG Composition: 1 suppository contains: Active substance: Meloxicam 15.0 mg Excipients: Hard fat (Suppocire VR) 1628.5 mg, Macrogol glyceryl hydroxystearate 16.5 mg Indications: Osteoarthritis; Rheumatoid arthritis; Ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew's disease). Indicated for symptomatic therapy, to reduce pain and inflammation at the time of use, does not affect disease progression. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance of the preparation or any excipient; Contraindicated in the post-operative period of aortocoronary bypass surgery; Decompensated heart failure; Complete or incomplete combination of bronchial asthma, recurrent nasal and paranasal sinus polyposis, and intolerance to acetylsalicylic acid and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including in history); Erosive-ulcerative changes of the gastric or duodenal mucosa, acute hemorrhagic gastritis, active gastrointestinal bleeding; Inflammatory bowel diseases in the exacerbation phase (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease); Cerebrovascular bleeding or other bleeding; Severe hepatic failure or active liver disease; Severe renal failure in patients not undergoing dialysis (creatinine clearance (CC) less than 30 ml/min), progressive renal diseases, including confirmed hyperkalemia; Pregnancy, lactation period; Children under 15 years of age. Depending on the treatment effect, the dose can be reduced to 7.5 mg per day. Osteoarthritis: 7.5 mg per day. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 15 mg per day. Ankylosing spondylitis: 15 mg per day. Depending on the treatment effect, the dose can be reduced to 7.5 mg per day. The use of rectal suppositories is recommended at a dose of 7.5 mg once a day. In more severe cases, suppositories can be used at a dose of 15 mg. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 15 mg. The preparation should be used rectally for the shortest possible duration, taking into account the risk of local toxicity and the risk associated with the systemic action of the preparation. In patients with an increased risk of developing side effects, as well as in patients with severe renal failure undergoing hemodialysis, the dose should not exceed 7.5 mg per day. Combined use: The total daily dose of meloxicam used in the form of tablets, suppositories, injections, and other dosage forms should not exceed 15 mg.
