What is it?
ANDROSITOL® PLUS Composition: For a complete list of ingredients, see the label. Contains sweeteners, sugar-free. Sugar content less than 0.5%. ANDROSITOL® PLUS is a food supplement with myo-inositol, N-acetylcysteine, Vitamin E, L-carnitine, L-arginine, alpha-lactalbumin, folic acid, and selenium, to provide an additional intake of useful nutrients in case of reduced dietary intake or increased demand. Selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis. Furthermore, selenium and vitamin E protect cells from oxidative stress. ANDROSITOL® PLUS is sugar-free. What physiological role does each component of ANDROSITOL® PLUS play? Myo-inositol: It is an important component physiologically present in seminal fluid. Myo-inositol is involved in the process of sperm motility and maturation, as well as ensuring normal morphology. Myo-inositol plays an important role as a secondary messenger for several hormones, including FSH and insulin, thus positively influencing the restoration of reproductive and metabolic functions. It is an essential component for sperm maturation and motility, and for their good morphology. N-acetylcysteine: It is characterized by mucolytic activity and is necessary in cases of high sperm viscosity. It allows sperm to move freely. Vitamin E: Protects cells from oxidative stress. L-carnitine: Plays an important role in cellular energy metabolism, especially at the seminal and epididymal level. L-arginine: It is an important amino acid involved in cell division, which contributes to sperm maturation. Alpha-lactalbumin: It is a whey protein. Alpha-lactalbumin plays an important role in improving the absorption of substances, including inositol, from the intestines and ensures the restoration of an optimal, physiological intestinal microenvironment. Folic acid: It contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism and is involved in cell division. Folic acid deficiency is associated with hyperhomocysteinemia and subfertility. Selenium: Contributes to normal spermatogenesis. How to take ANDROSITOL® PLUS: It is recommended to take one sachet per day. It is best for the patient not to take it with meals. The contents need to be dissolved in a glass of water (200ml). Warning: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not administer to children under three years of age. Keep out of reach of children. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Excessive dosage may have a laxative effect. It contains milk protein.
