What is it?
Composition: 1 film-coated tablet contains 1000mcg cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12). Excipients: povidone K30, stearic acid, glycol wax, lactose monohydrate, sucrose, gum arabic, talc, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, white tone, macrogol 6000, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, sodium dodecyl sulfate, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, triglyceride. Gluten-free, contains lactose. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Anti-anemic preparations. Indications: Anemia caused by Vitamin B12 deficiency, neurological disorders, funicular spinal disease. Dosage and administration: The preparation is prescribed by a doctor. In case of severe neurological symptoms, an injectable preparation should be initiated. The dose is prescribed according to symptoms. Patients with hematological and severe neurological analyses, isolated severe neurological analysis: injectable form. Patients with hematological or neurological analysis: 2 film-coated tablets twice daily. Patients without hematological or neurological symptoms: 1-2 tablets twice daily. In case of gastrectomy, diet-induced disorders, or other absorption disorders: 1-2 tablets daily. The film-coated tablet should be taken whole with water, without chewing, in the morning on an empty stomach. The duration of treatment, especially for initial treatment of pernicious anemia, is usually 4 weeks and is determined by the attending physician. Treatment may continue lifelong. Side effects: Allergic reaction with fever, rash, itching. Acne-like rash. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to cyanocobalamin or any ingredient of the preparation. Interactions with other drugs: Inform your doctor if you are taking, have taken, or plan to take any medication, including over-the-counter drugs. Absorption of Vitamin B12 is inhibited by colchicine, aminoglycosides, neomycin, aminosalicylic acid, antiepileptic drugs, biguanides, chloramphenicol, cholestyramine, potassium salt, methyldopa, and acid suppressants (e.g., omeprazole, cimetidine), as well as alcohol. Special instructions: Consult your doctor before taking the preparation. In case of blood and/or neurological disorders, consider the following: Depending on the severity of the disease or due to insufficient information or non-compliance with the treatment regimen, the patient should be under strict control during oral therapy. It is recommended to check symptoms, reticulocytes, blood count, hemoglobin, and red blood cell volume 7 days before starting treatment. Subsequently, during the first quarter of the year after starting treatment, recheck symptoms and blood count, including red blood cell volume, at 4-week intervals, and finally, in case of successful treatment, at half-year or one-year intervals. In case of complications, analyses should be performed more frequently. The preparation contains lactose and sucrose. If you have intolerance to any sugar, consult your doctor before taking the preparation. In case of a missed dose, do not take a double dose. Treatment should not be stopped arbitrarily. Pregnancy and lactation: The recommended daily dose during pregnancy and breastfeeding is 4mg. The doctor will decide on the treatment and its duration. Driving and operating machinery: No effect. Overdose: No poisoning or other symptoms have been observed in case of overdose. Appearance and packaging: White film-coated tablets (may be pinkish film-coated tablets, but this is not a defect of the preparation). #50 film-coated tablets in original packaging.
