What is it?
Composition: 0.02 g Belladonna thick extract, 0.1 g Xerofoam, 0.05 g Zinc sulfate, 0.12 g distilled glycerin, suppository base (Witepsol), sufficient to obtain a suppository weighing 2.09-2.31 g. Description: The preparation is a greenish-yellow, brownish or light-brown suppository with a characteristic smell of Xerofoam. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antihemorrhoidal agent. Pharmacological properties: The preparation has analgesic, local anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antiseptic, astringent, and drying effects. Indications for use: Hemorrhoids, anal fissures. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation, intestinal atony, heart failure in the decompensation stage, tachyarrhythmia, myasthenia gravis, angle-closure glaucoma, benign prostatic hyperplasia, pregnancy and lactation. Dosage and administration: The preparation is used rectally in the amount of 1 suppository 1-2 times a day. The maximum daily dose is 7 suppositories. Side effects: Allergic reactions, burning sensation in the anus, dry mouth, constipation, arrhythmia, pupillary dilation, transient visual impairment (accommodation paralysis), headache, dizziness, sleep disturbance, drowsiness, in case of overdose: nausea, vomiting, psychomotor disorder, convulsions, difficulty urinating, decreased sweating, hyperthermia. In such cases, it is necessary to discontinue the preparation and consult a doctor. Special instructions: Use of the preparation when performing work that requires maximum concentration (driving vehicles, operating machinery, etc.). Dosage form: Suppository N5 in contour packaging, 2 contour packages in a box. Storage conditions: Store in a dry, cool place, protected from light and children. Shelf life: 2 years.
