What is it?
Composition and Dosage Form 1 coated tablet (dragee) contains: Dry extract of Valerian root - 200 mg. Solvent: 70% ethanol. Dry extract of Hops cones - 68 mg. Solvent: 40% ethanol. Pharmacological Properties Ardeisedon is a herbal sedative preparation. The dry extract of Valerian root contained in it calms the central nervous system, reduces excitability, has a spasmolytic effect, regulates heart function, improves coronary blood circulation, and prolongs the action of sleeping pills. The dry extract of Hops cones has a neurotropic effect, regulates the functioning of the central nervous system, and has analgesic and stimulating effects. Indications Ardeisedon is used for restlessness and sleep disturbances caused by neurotic disorders. Dosage and Administration For oral administration. For adults and children aged 12 and over: - For restlessness: 1 coated tablet × 2-3 times a day. - For sleep difficulties caused by neurosis: 1 coated tablet half an hour or one hour before bedtime. If necessary, an additional 1 coated tablet in the evening. Side Effects Very rarely, allergic skin rash may occur. Side effects disappear upon discontinuation of the medication. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. There are insufficient studies on the use of this preparation in children, therefore, the use of this preparation in children under 12 years of age is not allowed. Pregnancy and Lactation The widespread use of Valerian indicates that this preparation does not pose a risk or side effects during pregnancy and lactation. Experimental research results are not available. Therefore, the use of this medication during pregnancy and lactation is not allowed. Special Instructions It is not recommended to drive vehicles or perform tasks that require great attention for 2 hours after taking this medication.
