What is Vitamin B Complex and what is it used for Vitamin B Complex is a combination preparation containing B group vitamins and nicotinamide. These are essential for the normal functioning of the body and participate in the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. It is used in the treatment of diseases and conditions associated with deficiency of B group vitamins and nicotinamide. 2. Before taking Vitamin B Complex Do not take Vitamin B Complex in the following cases: - if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance of the preparation or any of its components; - if you have high blood pressure (arterial hypertension) stage II-III; - in children under 6 years of age. Take special care when taking Vitamin B Complex - if you have malignant or liver disease, ulcer, gastritis, gout; - Vitamin B2, which is part of Vitamin B Complex, may cause yellowish-orange discoloration of urine. Taking other medicinal products Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicinal products, including those obtained without a prescription. Inform your doctor if you are taking medications for high blood pressure, sedatives, sleeping pills, antidepressants, or medications for Parkinson's disease, antiepileptic drugs, and tetracycline group antibiotics. It is important to inform your doctor about any concomitant treatment with other medicinal products to avoid any possible interactions between them. Pregnancy and breastfeeding Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicinal product. The preparation can be taken in recommended doses during pregnancy. It is not recommended to take Vitamin B Complex during breastfeeding. If it is necessary to take it, breastfeeding should be discontinued. 3. How to take Vitamin B Complex Vitamin B Complex injectable solution is used as prescribed by a doctor. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Adults: The preparation is usually administered intramuscularly or rarely intravenously at a dose of 1-2 ml daily or every other day for 5-10 days. Children: Parenteral use in children is not recommended. Dosage and duration of treatment are determined by the attending physician based on the severity of the disease and the patient's tolerance to the preparation. As soon as possible, switch to using Vitamin B Complex in tablet form
