What is it?
Benhil Uno Solution for Injection 3% 3ml Pre-filled Syringe Composition: Active ingredient: Sodium hyaluronate 2%. Other ingredients: Sodium chloride, sodium phosphate and water for injections (to volume). Indication: Benhil Uno is a synovial fluid substitute for patients with degenerative or mechanical arthropathies causing pain or limited mobility. How to use: Before injecting Benhil Uno, aspirate any effusion from the joint, if present, using the same needle for aspiration and injection. Remove the protective cap from the syringe, being careful not to touch the opened end. Securely attach a needle of 18-22 G diameter to the Luer-Lock neck to ensure a seal. Treat the specific area with an appropriate antiseptic solution before administering the injection. Administer Benhil Uno using aseptic technique. Inject only into the joint cavity. Method of use and dosage: Benhil Uno should be administered once within a treatment cycle; if necessary, the injection can be repeated. The doctor will assess the possibility of performing another injection based on the changes in the patient's clinical picture. Contraindications: Benhil Uno must not be used: In patients with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid and its compounds; If infections or skin diseases are present at the injection site; If joint infection or severe inflammation is present. Side effects: After administration of Benhil Uno, some transient symptoms may occasionally develop at the injection site, such as local pain, stiffness, heat, redness, or swelling. These secondary manifestations can be alleviated by applying ice to the joint. These effects are usually mild and disappear in a short time. If these symptoms persist, consult your doctor. As with any intra-articular treatment, septic arthritis can rarely develop if general precautions are not observed during injection or if the injection site is not aseptic. Storage: Benhil Uno should be stored in its original packaging at a temperature of 0-25°C, protected from direct sunlight and frost.
