What is it?
Composition of one capsule of the preparation: - Not less than 5 x 10^9 (5 billion CFU) live lyophilized bacteria: - Lactobacillus acidophilus 3.75 x 10^9 CFU - Lactobacillus rhamnosus 0.25 x 10^9 CFU - Bifidobacterium lactis 1 x 10^9 CFU - Fructooligosaccharides 13.3 mg Pharmacological properties Bifoval® Forte is a complex of pro- and prebiotics that regulates intestinal microflora. It contains "beneficial" bacteria and their nutrients – fructooligosaccharides – which are necessary for the normal growth and reproduction of beneficial bacteria. Fructooligosaccharides not only increase the number of beneficial bacteria but also reduce the formation of inflammatory processes in the intestine. The bacteria included in Bifoval® Forte exhibit resistance to acidic environments and easily adhere to the intestinal epithelium. Bifoval® Forte relieves all types of abdominal discomfort and effectively protects against intestinal problems. Indications - Imbalance of intestinal microflora of various etiologies - Dysbacteriosis associated with the use of antibiotics, hormonal, and chemotherapy drugs - Complex therapy of acute viral and bacterial intestinal infections - Dyspeptic symptoms (diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, belching, bloating, constipation) - Food intoxication - Disruption of normal digestive organ function associated with climate change (e.g., "traveler's diarrhea"); changes in diet - Weakening of immunity and body resistance to diseases - Atopic dermatitis and other allergic manifestations - Complex therapy of gastrointestinal diseases (gastroenteritis, colitis, enterocolitis, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic hepatitis, cholecystitis, duodenitis, gastritis, etc.) Method of administration and dosage Bifoval® Forte is recommended to be taken half an hour before meals: - Children over 12 years of age and adults: 1 capsule 2 times a day. - Children aged 5 to 12 years: 1 capsule a day. - Children under 5 years of age: the contents of 1/2 capsule are dissolved in a small amount of juice or sweetened liquid. The duration of treatment depends on the cause of dysbacteriosis and individual characteristics of the organism. If the patient is taking antibiotics, it is recommended to use the preparation 1 hour before or 1 hour after taking antibiotics. Use during pregnancy and lactation It is considered that the use of Bifoval® Forte during pregnancy and lactation is safe, but consultation with a doctor is necessary. Side effects The preparation is well tolerated; side effects are not observed when using the recommended doses of the preparation. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation or dairy products. Shelf life and storage Store in a place protected from light and moisture, inaccessible to children. The preparation should not be used after the expiration date.
