What is it?
Name - Bioflu Baby is Bioflu Baby and what it is used for This medicine contains paracetamol. It is used for effective treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as toothache, headache, sore throat, muscle, joint, and bone pain. It is also used to reduce high temperature associated with various conditions - colds, flu-like symptoms, childhood infectious diseases (measles, whooping cough, mumps, and chickenpox), ear, nose, and throat disorders, fever after vaccination. Indicated for children aged 0 months to 12 years. If you do not feel better after 3 days or feel worse, you should consult a doctor. How to use Bioflu Baby Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. The recommended single dose depends on body weight: 10-15 mg paracetamol/kg. The following doses are recommended according to the child's age and weight: Children aged 0 to 3 months: 2.5 ml (60 mg paracetamol) as needed (fever after vaccination, fever or/and other causes of pain), only on doctor's recommendation (10 mg/kg per dose; if the patient has jaundice, the dose will be reduced to 5 mg/kg per dose). If necessary, a subsequent dose can be given after 6 hours. These two doses can be given to children weighing more than 4 kg and who are not premature (before 37 weeks of pregnancy). Children aged 3-12 months: 2.5-5 ml (60-120 mg paracetamol) 1-4 times a day. Children aged 1-6 years: 5-10 ml (120-240 mg paracetamol) 1-4 times a day. Children aged 6-12 years: 10-20 ml (240-480 mg paracetamol) 1-4 times a day. In children weighing less than 37 kg, the total dose of paracetamol should not exceed 80 mg/kg per day. In children weighing from 38 kg to 50 kg, the daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 3 g per day. In children weighing more than 50 kg, the daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 4 g per day. Do not use in children under 3 months of age without a doctor's recommendation. If the child is premature or under 3 months of age, consult a doctor before use. Frequency of administration If necessary, the dose can be repeated every 4 hours. The interval between doses should not be less than 4 hours. No more than 4 doses should be taken in 24 hours. In children, the interval between doses, both during the day and at night, should preferably be 6 hours
