What is it?
Name - Bixtonim Xylo 1 mg/ml Nasal Spray is Bixtonim Xylo and what it is used for Bixtonim Xylo is a nasal decongestant that quickly relieves nasal congestion, allowing you to breathe more easily. Bixtonim Xylo is used in adults and children over 10 years of age for decongestion of the nasal mucosa in vasomotor rhinitis and allergic rhinitis. It can be used to treat ear infections by helping to decongest the nasopharyngeal mucosa. It may be prescribed by your doctor for nasal examinations. How to use Bixtonim Xylo Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, you should ask your doctor or pharmacist. Adolescents and adults over 10 years of age 1-2 sprays in each nostril, as needed, but no more than 3 times a day. Higher than recommended doses should not be used. Children under 10 years of age Bixtonim Xylo 1 mg/ml Nasal Spray Solution is contraindicated in children under 10 years of age. For children aged 2 to 10 years, a different concentration of xylometazoline hydrochloride, such as Bixtonim Xylo 0.5 mg/ml Nasal Spray Solution, is recommended. Elderly Bixtonim Xylo is prescribed at the same doses as for adults. Duration of administration Bixtonim Xylo should not be used for more than 5 days, unless otherwise advised by your doctor. Method of use For use, the protective cap must be removed. Before the first administration, spray the spray into the air 2-3 times by pressing the spray pump to ensure correct doses. Thus, the pump is ready for use. Gently blow your nose before using the nasal spray. It is recommended to take the last dose before bedtime. To use, after removing the protective cap, place the spray nozzle in the nostril and gently inhale through your nose by pressing the pump once. During administration, the bottle remains in a vertical position with the pump facing upwards. The product is not used in a horizontal position or downwards. After use, it is covered with a protective cap. For hygienic reasons and to avoid infections, each bottle with a pulverizer should be used by only one and the same person. Possible side effects Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Side effects are classified according to the following frequencies: very common (affects more than 1 in 10 patients), common (affects less than 1 in 10 patients), uncommon (affects less than 1 in 100 patients), rare (affects less than 1 in 1000 patients), very rare (affects less than 1 in 10,000 patients), unknown frequency (cannot be estimated from available data). Rare side effects - In patients with hypersensitivity: local mild and transient irritation (burning or dryness sensation of the nasal mucosa).
