What is it?
Composition: 1 capsule contains: Active ingredients: Bismuth oxide (in the form of bismuth potassium citrate) – 120.0 mg. Excipients: Magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide anhydrous, potato starch. Gelatin capsule #0 composition: Gelatin, purified water, titanium dioxide E-171. Indications: Gastric and duodenal ulcer disease, gastritis accompanied by dyspeptic complaints, for which Helicobacter pylori eradication is recommended. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation; severe renal dysfunction; pregnancy and lactation period; children under 6 years of age. Dosage and administration: For adults and children over 12 years of age, the preparation is prescribed 1 capsule 4 times a day, 30 minutes before meals and at night, or 2 capsules 2 times a day, 30 minutes before meals. For children aged 6 to 12 years, the preparation is prescribed at a dose of 8 mg/kg/day. Depending on the child's weight, 1-3 capsules per day are prescribed (correspondingly, 1-3 doses per day). The daily dose should be very close to the calculated dose (8 mg/kg/day). Capsules should be taken 30 minutes before meals with a small amount of water. The duration of the treatment course is 4-8 weeks. Bismuth-containing preparations should not be taken for the next 8 weeks. For Helicobacter pylori eradication, De-Wismut is recommended for use in combination with other antibacterial agents with anti-Helicobacter pylori activity.
