Properties

What is it?

Composition: Each film-coated tablet contains: Sodium diclofenac – 50.00 mg, Pridinol mesilate – 4.00 mg Excipients: Lactose monohydrate – 95.00 mg, Microcrystalline cellulose – 34.00 mg, Croscarmellose sodium – 9.00 mg, Magnesium stearate – 1.80 mg, Colloidal silicon dioxide – 2.00 mg, Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose E15 – 7.33 mg, Iron yellow oxide – 95.20 mcg, Iron red oxide – 18.10 mcg, Titanium dioxide – 0.57 mg, Polyethylene glycol 6000 – 1.33 mg, Talc – 4.77 mg. Physicochemical properties: Round, semi-elliptical shaped tablets, film-coated with a thin yellowish-brown coating. Average weight: 210 mg ± 5%. Solubility: Q=70% (Sodium diclofenac). Hermeticity: Not less than 99.5%. ATC code: M03BX03 Therapeutic properties: Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxant. Indications: Blokium Flex is used for muscle contractures accompanied by painful inflammatory processes; joint and extra-articular rheumatic processes, myalgia, low back pain, sciatica, stiff neck, trauma, ligament sprains. Pharmacological action: Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that primarily acts by inhibiting prostaglandins. Pridinol is a centrally acting muscle relaxant that effectively acts during muscle spasms. Dosage and administration: One tablet once daily, after meals. It can be adjusted according to the doctor's advice. Contraindications: Allergy to any of the substances in the preparation, active gastrointestinal ulcer, severe liver and/or kidney failure; if asthma, rhinitis, or urticarial rash associated with acetylsalicylic acid or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs has been reported in the medical history; pregnancy and lactation. Overdose: Symptoms of acute overdose include: headache, psychomotor agitation, muscle spasms, convulsions, epigastric pain, nausea, vomiting, hematemesis, diarrhea, gastrointestinal ulcer, liver dysfunction, and oliguria. If necessary, contact a toxicology center. Initial treatment for overdose: In case of overdose, gastric lavage by inducing stomach lavage or vomiting is recommended. Since the drug is excreted in the urine, inducing forced diuresis would be desirable. The effectiveness of dialysis or hemoperfusion in the elimination of the drug has not been established. The use of activated charcoal may reduce drug absorption. Packaging: 15 and 30 film-coated tablets in a container.
