What is it?
Composition: Each 100g gel contains: Diclofenac diethylamine 1.16g%. Excipients: Propylene glycol 15.00ml; Isopropyl alcohol 15.00ml; Nipazole 0.05g; Nipagin 0.10g; Carbopol 940 1.20g; Lavender essence 0.20ml; Diethylamine q.s. pH 7-8, Disodium EDTA 0.03g; Demineralized water q.s. 100.00g. Therapeutic action: External analgesic and anti-inflammatory preparation. Indications: Symptomatic treatment of pain and local inflammation. Dosage and administration: Gentle massage is required to promote skin penetration. Depending on the size of the affected area, 2-4g, for a surface of 2-5cm, 3-4 times a day. After use, hands should be washed unless they are the treated area. Use in the elderly: Same as in adults. Contraindications: Patients with or without asthma, who have a history of asthma attacks, rhinitis or urticaria caused by aspirin, any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Hypersensitivity to diclofenac, acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Hypersensitivity to any of the components. Use in children: Not recommended as dosages and indications are not established for this group. Warnings: Pregnancy and lactation: The use of the preparation is not recommended as its safety in these conditions has not been established. During the last trimester of pregnancy, the use of prostaglandin synthetase inhibitors may lead to premature closure of the arterial duct or uterine inertia. Exposure to the sun should be avoided due to the risk of photosensitivity reactions. Overdose: Due to the low systemic absorption range, overdose is unlikely. In case of accidental intoxication, measures for intoxication with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (symptomatic and supportive measures) should be taken. In case of overdose, the patient should go to the nearest hospital or contact a toxicology center. Presented in: Tube 50g. Dispensing: Prescription only.
