What is it?

Before using the preparation, it is necessary to read the instructions for use carefully, as it contains important information for the patient. Composition: The active ingredient is calcium carbonate (500mg calcium equivalent). Excipients: Mannitol, talc, citric acid anhydrous, sorbitol, sodium cyclamate, flavoring (orange), flavoring (mandarin), magnesium stearate, povidone. Indication: Body-Calcin is chewable tablets containing calcium, which is an important substance for bone formation. Body-Calcin is used for the prevention and treatment of calcium deficiency and as an adjunct in the specific therapy of osteoporosis. Body-Calcin is also used as a phosphate binder in patients with high phosphate levels in the blood. Contraindication: Body-Calcin should not be taken: If the patient is allergic to calcium or any other ingredient of this preparation. If there is an excess of calcium in the blood or urine. If there are kidney stones. Warnings and precautions: Before taking Body-Calcin, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If the patient is taking diuretics (used to treat high blood pressure or swelling) or cardiac glycosides (used to treat heart diseases). If there is an excess of calcium in the blood or signs of kidney dysfunction, or if there have been kidney stones in the past. Taking the preparation with food and drink: Body-Calcin can be taken with or without food and drink.
