What is it?
Brefoville #10 Capsules Composition: - Saccharomyces boulardii 0.25 x 109 CFU - Lactobacillus rhamnosus 0.25 x 109 CFU - Zinc 10 mg - Inulin 200 mg Pharmacological Properties: Saccharomyces boulardii stimulates immunoglobulin A (IgA-x) secretion, enhancing local immunity. When used with antibiotic therapy, it helps maintain the balance of bacterial flora until the end of treatment. Lactobacillus rhamnosus is a probiotic resistant to the acidic environment of the stomach. Clinical studies have confirmed the efficacy of this strain in traveler's diarrhea and post-antibiotic therapy diarrhea. Brefoville can also be used in acute gastroenteritis for rehydration therapy. It protects the intestines from exacerbation of pseudomembranous colitis. It reduces the risk of developing gingivitis and periodontal diseases. It acts as an adjuvant in H. pylori eradication. Indications: - Treatment and prevention of acute infectious, viral, and bacterial diarrhea - Post-antibiotic therapy period - Gastrointestinal infections - H. pylori eradication Dosage: Take 1 capsule of Brefoville once daily. Duration: 7-10 days. The preparation is indicated for pregnant women, during lactation, and for elderly patients. Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
