What is it?
Dosage: 2mg-ml 5mg-ml Brimonidine Tartrate-Timolol. Composition: 1ml of solution contains: Active substances: Brimonidine Tartrate-2.0mg, Timolol Maleate-6.8mg (equivalent to 5mg Timolol); Excipients- Benzalkonium Chloride (0.05mg), Sodium Phosphate Monobasic, Sodium Phosphate Dibasic, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Water for Injection. Indications: Open-angle glaucoma, ocular hypertension when local beta-blockers are insufficiently effective. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to active substances or other components of the preparation; increased reactivity of the respiratory tract, including bronchial asthma or history of bronchial asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; sinus bradycardia, sick sinus syndrome, sinoatrial block, second and third degree atrioventricular block without an implanted artificial pacemaker, severe heart failure, cardiogenic shock; combination therapy with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO), antidepressants (tricyclic antidepressants, minasterine); used in newborns and children up to 2 years of age. Method of administration and dosage: Adults, including elderly patients, 1 drop 2 times a day in the affected eye, with 12-hour intervals. When using more than one topical ophthalmic agent, the interval between instillations should exceed 5 minutes. To reduce systemic absorption, after instillation, it is necessary to press on the lacrimal canal or close the eyes (for a few minutes). It is not recommended to touch the tip of the bottle to any surface to avoid infection of the eye and the contents of the bottle. Use during pregnancy and lactation: Controlled studies on the use of the preparation in pregnant women have not been conducted. Use of the preparation during pregnancy is not recommended. Use of the preparation during pregnancy is possible only in case of urgent necessity, if the expected benefit for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus. Storage conditions: Store at 15-25?, protected from light and inaccessible to children.
