What is it?
Composition: Bronchobos 5% syrup 5ml contains: Carbocisteine 250.00mg. Other excipients of Bronchobos 5% syrup are: Glycerol 85%, Ethanol 96%, Sodium hydroxide, Carmellose sodium, Citric acid monohydrate, Methyl parahydroxybenzoate, Saccharin sodium, Propyl parahydroxybenzoate, Raspberry flavor, Azorubine (E122), Purified water. Indication: Bronchobos 5% syrup contains the drug carbocisteine, which belongs to mucolytic agents. It makes mucus less sticky (thins it), which facilitates its expectoration during coughing. Bronchobos 5% syrup is used for respiratory tract problems when a large amount of mucus is produced or the mucus becomes very sticky. Contraindication: Inform your doctor if you are taking other medications, have certain chronic diseases, metabolic disorders, are hypersensitive, or have had allergic reactions to medications. Do not take Bronchobos 5% syrup: if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to carbocisteine or any other ingredient of Bronchobos 5% syrup. Signs of an allergic reaction include: rash, difficulty swallowing or breathing, swelling of the lips, face, throat, or tongue; if you have a stomach or intestinal ulcer. Do not take the medication if you have any of the above. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Bronchobos 5% syrup. Pregnancy and lactation: Consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting treatment with the medication. Consult your doctor before taking the medication: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or think you may be pregnant. This preparation should not be taken during the first trimester of pregnancy; if you are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed. Other warnings: Bronchobos 5% syrup contains 96% ethanol (alcohol). When used according to instructions, 15ml of syrup corresponds to 375mg of alcohol. This may be harmful to patients with alcoholism. It should also be considered for pregnant and breastfeeding patients, children, and high-risk patients (with liver disease or epilepsy); Bronchobos 5% syrup contains methyl parahydroxybenzoate and propyl parahydroxybenzoate. Both ingredients can cause allergic reactions (delayed-type hypersensitivity reactions); Bronchobos 5% syrup contains azorubine (E122), which may cause an allergic reaction. How to take Bronchobos 5% syrup: The medication should be taken according to the instructions for use. If you believe that the effect of the medication is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor or pharmacist. How to take: Bronchobos 5% syrup is for oral use. Bronchobos 5% syrup should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. Dosage: Adults (including the elderly): The recommended dose is 15ml (3 measuring spoons of Bronchobos 5% syrup) 3 times a day; if symptoms improve, the dose can be reduced to 10ml (2 measuring spoons of Bronchobos 5% syrup) 3 times a day. Children: Bronchobos 5% syrup is recommended for children over 12 years of age. The dose is the same as for adults. Storage: Bronchobos 5% syrup should be stored out of reach of children.
