The course of treatment is 10-20 days.Contraindications: * Hypersensitivity to hydrolyzed protein from pig brain or any ingredient in the preparation; * Epilepsy * Acute renal failure.Precautions: No interaction with other drugs is required: Due to the pharmacological profile of Cerebrolysin, special attention should be paid to potential side effects when administered in combination with antidepressants or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI). In this case, a reduction in the antidepressant dose is recommended. Cerebrolysin should not be mixed with infusion solutions of neutral amino acids.Special Precautions: Special caution is required in the following cases: * Allergic diathesis; * When treating epilepsy or "Grand Mal" type epilepsy with Cerebrolysin, the frequency of seizures may increase. * There is data that Cerebrolysin causes kidney damage, therefore it is not used in case of renal failure.Pregnancy and Lactation: Animal studies have shown that it negatively affects reproductive capacity. Similar studies have not been conducted in humans. Post-stroke complications: The recommended daily dose is 10-50 ml of Cerebrolysin solution for injection/infusion (2152 – 10760 mg hydrolyzed protein from pig brain). Craniocerebral trauma, post-operative, or concussion: The recommended daily dose is 10-50 ml of Cerebrolysin solution for injection/infusion (1076 – 6456 mg hydrolyzed protein from pig brain). Children: The recommended daily dose is 1-2 ml of Cerebrolysin solution for injection/infusion (215.2 – 430.4 mg hydrolyzed protein from pig brain). Efficacy can be increased by repeating the course until no further improvement in health status occurs. After the initial course of treatment, the frequency of administration can be reduced to 2-3 times a week. The duration of free intervals between courses of treatment should be equal to the duration of the course of treatment. Intravenously, 5 ml of Cerebrolysin solution for injection/infusion (2152 mg hydrolyzed protein from pig brain) can be administered, and intramuscularly up to 10 ml of Cerebrolysin solution for injection/infusion (2152 mg hydrolyzed protein from pig brain). Administration of 10-50 ml (2152 mg - 10,760 mg hydrolyzed protein from pig brain) is recommended as a slow intravenous infusion after dilution with an infusion solution according to the recommended standard.
