If you take more Cycloplegic-edol than you should - In case of acute toxicity, the antidote is physostigmine. In children: 0.5mg of physostigmine is administered slowly intravenously. If toxic effects are still observed and no cholinergic phenomena are noted, physostigmine should be repeated every 5 minutes at a dose of 2mg. Adolescents and adults: 2mg of physostigmine is administered slowly intravenously. If toxic effects are still observed, physostigmine should be repeated at a dose of 1-2mg after 20 minutes. Therefore, it is necessary to press on the corner of the eye for a few minutes (2-3 minutes) after instilling the eye drops into the conjunctival sac. Photosensitivity - Cyclopentolate hydrochloride increases the eye's sensitivity to light, so it is recommended to wear sunglasses to protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation. Children - In children with spastic paralysis or mental disorders, side effects are more likely to develop. Special caution is required in patients with paralytic ileus, benign prostatic hyperplasia, coronary insufficiency or heart failure, and ataxia. The total recovery time is 24 hours. Pregnancy and lactation - Since absorption is systemic in pregnant and lactating women, Cycloplegic-edol 10mg/ml eye drops, solution should be used when the expected therapeutic benefit outweighs the possible risk.
