What is it?

International Nonproprietary Name - zinc sulfate, ascorbic acid Clinical-pharmacological group: Vitamins, multivitamins, trace elements Composition: 5 ml of syrup contains Zinc sulfate 10 mg, Vitamin C 50 mg Indications: * Prolonged diarrhea * Increased loss of electrolytes with feces (malabsorption syndrome, inflammatory bowel diseases) * Zinc-deficient conditions (acrodermatitis) * Frequent illness with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract * Delayed sexual development (delayed formation of secondary sexual characteristics during puberty) * Post-illness convalescence period Dosage and administration: Cinconet C is taken during or after meals. Diarrhea: 0-6 months: 5 ml per day (10 mg pure zinc) 6 months – 3 years: 10 ml per day (20 mg pure zinc) 3 – 12 years: 15 ml per day (30 mg pure zinc) Over 12 years: 20 ml per day (40 mg pure zinc) The daily dose is divided into 2 intakes. The course of treatment is at least 14 days. Other indications for zinc deficiency: Children weighing less than 10 kg: 10 ml per day (20 mg zinc) – divided into 2 intakes Children 10-30 kg: 10 ml (20 mg zinc) – 1-3 times a day Children over 30 kg and adults: 20 ml (40 mg zinc) - 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment is determined by the doctor, depending on the disease. During pregnancy and lactation, Cinconet C is taken under medical supervision. Side effects: Rarely, gastrointestinal side effects occur, which are immediately resolved if the patient takes the preparation during or after meals. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity.
