Citiviti Composition: Citiviti 1000 mg oral solution is packaged in 10 ml sachets. Each milliliter contains 100 mg of citicoline (as sodium salt). Each sachet contains 1000 mg of citicoline (as sodium salt). Excipients with known effect: Each sachet contains: Ponceau 4R (E-124); 4 mg propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216); 16 mg methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218); up to 1840 mg sorbitol (E420) and 80.8 mg sodium (from active and excipients). Therapeutic indications: Treatment of neurological and cognitive disorders associated with cerebrovascular accidents. Treatment of neurological and cognitive disorders associated with cranial trauma. Dosage and method of administration: Dosage Adults: The recommended daily dose is 500 to 2000 mg, depending on the severity of the clinical picture. Elderly: Dose adjustment is not required for elderly patients. Pediatric population: Experience in children is limited. Therefore, the medicinal product should only be prescribed when the expected therapeutic benefit outweighs any potential risk. Pregnancy and lactation: There is insufficient data on the use of citicoline in pregnant women. This medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.
