Pharmacological Properties The preparation has a strong anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-pruritic, and anti-exudative effect. Indications Clovate is used for the treatment of skin diseases that respond to topical corticosteroid treatment, excluding complications of skin diseases caused by bacterial infections. Clovate is used for the following inflammatory skin diseases: - Atopic eczema; - Seborrheic dermatitis; - Lichen planus; - Psoriasis; - Allergic contact dermatitis; - Systemic lupus erythematosus; - Erythema multiforme. Dosage and Administration It is essential to follow the doctor's prescription. If in doubt, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Apply 1-2 times a day, a thin layer on the affected skin area or rub gently. Do not apply the ointment if wearing occlusive dressings. Treatment should not exceed 2 weeks. If longer corticosteroid treatment is necessary, your doctor will prescribe a different medication. Wash hands after use. Side Effects If you experience burning or itching after applying the ointment, discontinue treatment and consult your doctor. Possible side effects include: Local skin reactions: acne, purpura, thinning of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, formation of striae. Dilated capillaries or terminal arteries on the skin or mucous membranes, skin depigmentation or discoloration, purulent inflammation of hair follicles, rash, perioral dermatitis. Sensory organs: After application to the eyelids, exacerbation of glaucoma symptoms or development of cataracts may occur. General: May occur after prolonged use, application to large areas of skin, under occlusive dressings, or in children. Reversible suppression of ACTH hormone (hormone that stimulates the production of endogenous corticosteroids) may manifest as fatigue, weakness, menstrual cycle disorders, arterial hypertension, and growth retardation in children. If severe side effects develop, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to clobetasol or any component of Clovate; - Bacterial or fungal skin infections; - Viral skin diseases such as chickenpox, herpes, and others; - Acne; - Perioral dermatitis; - Anal or genital itching; - Under occlusive dressings; - In children under 2 years of age. Pregnancy and Lactation Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using the preparation. The use of Clovate during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended. Фармакологические свойства Препарат обладает выраженным местным противовоспалительным, противоаллергическим, противозудным и противоэкссудативным действием. Показания Кловейт применяется для лечения кожных заболеваний, поддающихся местной терапии кортикостероидами, за исключением осложнений кожных заболеваний, вызванных бактериальными инфекциями. Кловейт применяется при следующих воспалительных заболеваниях кожи: - Атопическая экзема; - Жирные, шелушащиеся элементы (себорейный дерматит); - Сильный зуд (красный плоский лишай); - Псориаз; - Воспаление, вызванное контактом с аллергеном (аллергический контактный дерматит); - Различные проявления эритематозных заболеваний (красная волчанка); - Покраснение кожи с развитием пузырьков (многоформная эритема). Способ применения и дозы Необходимо соблюдать назначения врача. При возникновении каких-либо сомнений обратитесь к врачу или фармацевту. Применяется 1-2 раза в день, наносится тонким слоем на пораженный участок кожи или осторожно втирается. Нельзя наносить мазь под воздухонепроницаемую одежду. Лечение продолжается не более 2 недель. Если требуется более длительное лечение кортикостероидами, врач назначит вам другой препарат. После применения вымойте руки. Побочные эффекты Если после нанесения мази вы почувствуете жжение или зуд, прекратите лечение и обратитесь к врачу. Могут развиться: местные кожные реакции: акне, точечные кровоизлияния (пурпура), истончение кожи и подкожной клетчатки, образование стрий. Расширенные капилляры или скопление терминальных артерий на коже или слизистых оболочках, депигментация или обесцвечивание кожи, гнойное воспаление волосяных фолликулов, сыпь, воспаление кожи вокруг рта. Со стороны органов чувств: после нанесения на веки возможно усиление симптомов глаукомы или развитие катаракты. Общие: могут развиться при длительном применении или нанесении на большие участки кожи, при применении под воздухонепроницаемой одеждой или у детей. Обратимое снижение уровня АКТГ (гормона, стимулирующего выработку эндогенных кортикостероидов) может проявляться усталостью, слабостью, нарушениями менструального цикла, артериальной гипертензией, замедлением роста у детей. При развитии тяжелых побочных эффектов обратитесь к врачу или фармацевту. Противопоказания - Гиперчувствительность к клобетазолу или любому компоненту Кловейта; - Бактериальные или грибковые заболевания кожи; - Вирусные заболевания кожи, такие как ветряная оспа, герпес и другие; - Акне; - Воспаление кожи вокруг рта (периоральный дерматит); - Анальный или генитальный зуд; - Под воздухонепроницаемой одеждой; - У детей до 2 лет. Вождение автомобиля и работа с механизмами: препарат Кловейt не влияет на способность управлять автомобилем и работать с механизмами. Передозировка При применении Кловейта в дозе, превышающей рекомендованную, или при случайном проглатывании препарата следует немедленно обратиться к врачу. Если требуется более длительное лечение кортикостероидами, врач назначит вам другой препарат.
