Microcol Ofto Recommendation for Use Trade Name Microcol Ofto Form Ophthalmic Gel Composition Microcol Ofto contains micronized Type I bovine collagen, taurine, propylene glycol. Indications for Use of Microcol Ofto Eye Drops Microcol Ofto micronized collagen gel is intended for moisturizing the eye surface. Nanocollagen, with its pronounced adhesive properties, adheres well to the corneal surface in cases of dry eye syndrome, ensuring effective moisturization of the eye surface. Taurine reduces the toxic effects of oxidative stress on the eye, helps eliminate metabolic disorders in eye cells, improves the function of cell membranes, stimulates ATP synthesis, metabolism, and helps maintain the electrolyte composition of cellular fluids. Microcol Ofto gel is prescribed as an adjunct in complex therapy in the following cases: Dry eye syndrome Pregnancy and lactation. Use during pregnancy and lactation is not contraindicated. Driving. Microcol Ofto does not affect the ability to drive. Important Information About Some Ingredients of Microcol Ofto. Do not use Microcol Ofto if you have hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. How to Use Microcol Ofto. Instructions for use: 1. Remove the Microcol Ofto bottle from the cardboard box. Remove the cap. 2. Wash your hands thoroughly before the procedure. 3. Remove contact lenses before using the preparation. 4. Shake the bottle well before use. 5. Dosage: 1-2 drops in the eye. 6. Do not touch the eye with the tip of the bottle! This may contaminate the product. 7. As soon as the drop enters the eyes, close your eyes, blink gently. 8. Close the cap tightly after each use. 9. It is recommended to use Microcol Ofto twice a day - in the morning and just before bedtime. Warnings. Do not use Microcol Ofto if the packaging is damaged. Microcol Ofto is intended for multiple uses. Possible Side Effects. Allergic reactions may occur in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the gel. A slight burning sensation may occur, which will pass within a few minutes and does not require discontinuation of the product.
