What is it?
ROVINOPROST Composition: Pumpkin seed oil 250 mg Saw Palmetto 160 mg Pollen 100 mg Arginine 80 mg Vitamin E 36 mg Zinc 23.5 mg Selenium 55 mcg Pharmacological properties: Prostatoprotective, antioxidant, immunostimulant agent. ROVINOPROST is a combined preparation in tablet form. The action of the preparation is due to the properties of its components. See also: Prostamol uno - Prostamol uno 320mg. 30 capsules Pumpkin seed oil – The action of pumpkin seed oil is due to the biologically active substances it contains: carotenoids, tocopherols (alpha-, beta-, gamma-, sigma- isomers), phospholipids, sterols, phosphatides, flavonoids, vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin F, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin PP, saturated and unsaturated fatty acids (palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, linolenic, arachidonic), mineral compounds, microelements. The high content of tocopherols and carotenoids has a pronounced antioxidant effect, suppressing lipid peroxidation processes in biological membranes. Essential phospholipids – structural elements of cell membranes and membrane organelles, regulate membrane permeability and oxidative phosphorylation processes, promote the restoration of membrane structure and function, and have a strong prostatoprotective effect, as well as reduce inflammatory processes. Unsaturated fatty acids are involved in lipid metabolism, regulation of cholesterol and triglyceride metabolism, and arachidonic acid metabolism. Pumpkin seed oil exhibits anti-edema, antiproliferative, hypolipidemic, potency-enhancing effects, and increases sperm fertility. Saw Palmetto – Traditionally recommended for benign prostatic hyperplasia, urinary tract infections, and impotence. Saw palmetto has a pronounced antiandrogenic, anti-inflammatory, and antiproliferative effect. The antiandrogenic effect is due to the inhibition of 5-alpha-reductase, suppressing the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone and its fixation to cytosolic receptors. The anti-inflammatory effect of saw palmetto is determined by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, thus reducing vascular wall permeability and prostatic tissue edema. Clinical studies confirm that saw palmetto extract prevents the development of benign prostatic hyperplasia in 90% of cases.
