What is it?
Composition: 1 effervescent tablet contains: Active ingredients: Calcium (in the form of calcium carbonate) 1000mg, Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) 880 IU. Excipients: anhydrous citric acid, maltodextrin, sorbitol, aspartame, potassium acesulfame, "Orange" flavoring, malic acid, polyethylene glycol 6000, sucrose, sodium ascorbate crystalline, medium-chain triglycerides, silicon dioxide, DL-alpha-tocopherol, modified starch. Indications: Deficiency or high risk of developing deficiency of Vitamin D3 and calcium; prophylaxis and complex treatment of osteoporosis (menopausal, senile, steroid) in patients with Vitamin D3 and calcium deficiency; bone fractures, slowing down post-traumatic regeneration processes of bone tissue. Dosage and Administration: D-Calcin Forte is taken orally, independently of food intake. One tablet should be dissolved in a glass of drinking water at room temperature (200ml) and taken immediately after preparation. For osteoporosis prophylaxis - 1 tablet once daily for adults; for complex treatment of osteoporosis - 1 tablet 1-2 times daily for adults. As a prophylactic agent - 1 tablet daily for adults and children over 12 years of age. For children aged 5 to 12 years, a reduced dose is taken (half of the prepared solution). The average duration of treatment to replenish calcium and Vitamin D3 deficiency is not less than 4-6 weeks. The number of repeated courses per year is determined individually. When used for prophylaxis and complex therapy of osteoporosis, the duration of treatment is determined individually by the doctor. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation; hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria; urolithiasis (nephrolithiasis); hypervitaminosis D3; severe renal failure; active form of tuberculosis; sarcoidosis. The preparation contains aspartame, which is transformed into phenylalanine in the body, therefore the preparation is not used in phenylketonuria. Precautions: Pregnancy, lactation, renal insufficiency. Use during pregnancy and lactation: During pregnancy, calcium and Vitamin D3 are used to replenish their deficiency in the body. The daily dose during pregnancy should not exceed 1500mg of calcium and 600 IU of Vitamin D3. It is possible to take a reduced dose of D-Calcin Forte (half of the prepared solution). Vitamin D3 and its metabolites pass into breast milk. Due to the high content of Vitamin D3, the use of D-Calcin Forte during lactation is not recommended. Use in pediatrics: For adolescents from 12 years of age, it is recommended to take 1 tablet of D-Calcin Forte daily. For younger children, the preparation can be taken in proportion to the prepared solution, in accordance with the recommended daily doses.
