What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - Plantago major Composition: 100 g of the preparation contains: Plantain extract 5 g Peppermint oil 0.01 g Sugar 25 g Beet syrup 50 g Potassium sorbate 0.15 g Water 19.84 g Pharmacotherapeutic group: Herbal antitussive agent. Pharmacodynamics: The preparation has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, and mucolytic effects. Indications: Inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, when cough with difficult sputum expectoration is observed. Contraindications: Increased sensitivity to the components of the preparation. Side effects: Allergic reactions to the components of the preparation may develop. Dosage and administration: In children aged 1 to 6 years, 1 teaspoon every 3-4 hours, no more than 4 times a day. For children over 6 years, 1-2 teaspoons every 2-3 hours, no more than 4 times a day. In adults, 1 tablespoon every 2-3 hours. Warnings and precautions: The preparation contains sucrose, which should be considered for patients with diabetes. Expired preparation should not be used. Interaction with other drugs: It is not recommended to take it together with other expectorants.
