What is it?
Damlavit Drops Oral 400 IU Composition: Each drop contains: Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) - 400 IU Indications: Prophylaxis and treatment of: Vitamin D3 deficiency; Rickets and rickets-like diseases; Hypocalcemic tetany; Osteomalacia; Metabolic osteopathies (hypoparathyroidism and pseudohypoparathyroidism); As an adjunct in the treatment of osteoporosis. Pharmacological Properties: Vitamin D3 is an antirachitic factor. It regulates calcium and phosphorus metabolism in the body. Vitamin D3 aqueous solution is better absorbed compared to oily solutions. Premature infants have insufficient bile production, which hinders the absorption of oily solutions. Vitamin D3 is excreted from the body with urine and feces. Dosage: 0-2 years: 1 drop once daily 2-14 years: 2 drops once daily 14 years and above: 3 drops once daily Side Effects: Individuals with sensitivity to the ingredients may experience side effects. Warnings: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Consult your doctor during pregnancy and lactation, or if you are ill or taking medication.
