Several scientific studies have shown that hyaluronic acid, whose levels are high in the cervix, plays a fundamental role in maintaining physiological pregnancy. Alpha-lipoic acid, also called thioctic acid, is a fatty acid that is physiologically produced in the body and found in many foods, although its absorption is often hindered by food intolerances and inadequate dietary regimens. It is one of the most potent physiological antioxidants and helps regenerate intracellular antioxidants (e.g., glutathione).
