DECO 2000 Composition: Each gelatin soft capsule contains 2000 IU Cholecalciferol (50 mcg Vitamin D3) Excipients: Sunflower oil, Vitamin E, Bovine edible gelatin, Purified water, Glycerin, Sorbitol. Indications: The preparation is used for the treatment, prevention, and maintenance of Vitamin D deficiency. Dosage and Administration: For children and adolescents aged 5 years and older: Prophylactic dose is 500-1000 IU per day, as recommended by a doctor. Therapeutic dose is recommended at 5000-6000 IU per day. However, the duration of therapeutic dose intake and transition to prophylactic dose is determined by monitoring the concentration of 25-(OH)D in blood serum. Adults: Usually, 500-1000 IU of Vitamin D per day is recommended as a prophylactic dose. As a therapeutic dose, 5000-6000 IU of Vitamin D per day is recommended.
