What is it?
Composition: Active ingredients: Each 1ml oral drops contains 0.375mg Vitamin D3, equivalent to 15,000 IU. Excipients: Vitamin E and sunflower oil. Indication: De-Colerole Forte is used for Vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency, for the treatment and prevention of Vitamin D deficiency caused by malabsorption in the gastrointestinal tract, for the treatment of rickets (a bone disease caused by Vitamin D deficiency), osteomalacia (a disease associated with reduced minerals in bone composition), as an adjunct in the treatment of bone loss (osteoporosis) to prevent the risk of osteoporotic fractures, and as an adjunct in the treatment of hyperparathyroidism (a disease associated with the formation of tumors in the parathyroid gland, which produces a hormone involved in regulating calcium metabolism in the body). Contraindication: If the patient is allergic (hypersensitive) to cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) or any other ingredient in the product. If the patient has high blood pressure (hypertension); if the patient has advanced hardening of the arteries (arteriosclerosis); if the patient has active pulmonary tuberculosis. In this case, the drug should not be used in large doses for a long time. If the patient has Vitamin D hypervitaminosis (a condition caused by excessive intake or accumulation of Vitamin D. Symptoms include loss of appetite, constipation, blurred vision, and muscle weakness). If the patient has hypercalcemia (high level of calcium in the blood) or hypercalciuria (high level of calcium in the urine); if the patient has kidney stones (containing calcium); if the patient is sensitive to calcium. Dosage and administration: De-Colerole Forte should be taken as recommended by a doctor.
