What is it?
Composition: Active substance: One vial contains: Retinol palmitate retinol (vitamin A) equivalent-3500 IU; Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3)-220 IU; DL-alpha-tocopherol-10.20mg; Alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E) equivalent-11.20 IU; Ascorbic acid (vitamin C)-125mg; Cocaboxylase tetrahydrate-5.80mg; Thiamine (vitamin B1) equivalent-3.51mg; Riboflavin sodium phosphate dihydrate-5.67mg; Riboflavin (vitamin B2) equivalent-4.14mg; Pyridoxine hydrochloride-5.50mg; Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) equivalent-4.53mg; Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12)-0.006mg; Folic acid-0.414mg; Dexpanthenol-16.15mg; Pantothenic acid equivalent 17.25mg; D-biotin-0.069mg Nicotinamide (vitamin PP, niacin)-46mg. Excipients: Glycine, Glycocholic acid, Soy lecithin, Sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid. Indications: Demeton-D is a water- and fat-soluble, balanced combination of all vitamins essential for the metabolism of children over 11 years of age and adults, excluding vitamin K. Provision of vitamins corresponding to daily requirements for children over 11 years of age and adults who require multivitamin supplementation parenterally, when oral intake or enteral feeding is contraindicated, impossible or insufficient (e.g., malnutrition, gastrointestinal malabsorption, parenteral nutrition, etc.). Contraindications: Demeton-D must not be administered in the following cases: - Hypersensitivity to the active substances, especially vitamin B1, or any of the excipients listed in the composition, including soy protein-products (lecithin in the mixed micelle is derived from soy) or peanut protein-products. Hypervitaminosis of any vitamin included in the given formula. Children: Demeton-D is contraindicated in children under 11 years of age. Dosage and administration: Dosage: Adults and children over 11 years of age: 1 vial-day. Dispensing rules: Pharmaceutical product group: II, dispensed with prescription N3. Special storage conditions: The preparation should be stored out of reach of children. Store below 25C, protected from light and moisture.
