What is it?
Composition 1 ml of the preparation contains Active substances: Dexpanthenol 30 mg, Polyvinyl alcohol 14 mg. Excipients: Potassium dihydrogen phosphate, Dipotassium phosphate, Benzalkonium chloride, Water for injection. Indications - Symptomatic treatment of dryness of the cornea and conjunctiva due to decreased tear secretion caused by local or systemic diseases, as well as incomplete eyelid closure; - Hydration of the ocular surface during the wear of rigid contact lenses. Dosage and administration: For ophthalmic topical use only. In adults, Dep-1 is instilled as one drop 6 times a day into the conjunctival sac. In severe cases, eye drops can be used every 1 hour. The duration of treatment depends on the clinical picture and is determined individually. Artificial tear preparations can usually be used throughout life, except in cases where the corresponding symptoms are temporary and related to the underlying disease or reaction to medication. Close the cap after each use. It is not recommended to touch the eyes or other surfaces with the tip of the dropper. When using several ophthalmic preparations simultaneously, a 15-minute interval between instillations is necessary, eye ointments are used last. Pediatric population The safety and efficacy of the preparation in children and adolescents have not been established. No relevant studies have been conducted. Storage conditions Store protected from light at a temperature not exceeding 25 C. Keep out of reach of children! The preparation can be used for 6 weeks after opening the bottle.
