What is it?
Name - Dexidrofi Eye Drops 15ml #1 Pharmacodynamic Properties Dexidrofi 3 mg/ml + 1 mg/ml, eye drops, solution is a physiological tear substitute with physical rather than pharmacological action. The preparation contains ionic components of human tears: calcium, potassium, and chloride ions. It also contains two water-soluble polymers, such as Dextran 70 and Hypromellose. The polymeric composition of the preparation ensures corneal hydration. The surface tension and viscosity of the artificial tear are similar to natural tears. The combination of Dextran 70 and Hypromellose in aqueous form provides a soothing and moisturizing effect in dry eye syndrome associated with insufficient tear or mucous secretion. Pharmacokinetic Properties The pharmacokinetics of Dextran 70 and Hypromellose have not been studied for this product. Due to the high molecular weight of the constituent polymers, penetration into the cornea and conjunctiva is expected to be low. Therapeutic Indications Dexidrofi 3 mg/ml + 1 mg/ml, eye drops, solution is used in adults, children, and the elderly as a moisturizing agent and artificial tear for dry eye syndrome and eye irritation associated with insufficient tear or mucous secretion. Dosage and Administration Dosage Adults, children, and the elderly: One or two drops in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye as needed. Method of Administration The preparation is intended for ophthalmic use only. Do not use the solution if its color changes or it becomes cloudy. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip to the eye surface or any other surface. Close the bottle cap immediately after use. To avoid eye injury, remove the tamper-evident ring from the cap when opening the bottle for the first time. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to Dextran 70, Hypromellose, or any of the excipients. Storage Conditions Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, in the original packaging. After opening the bottle, the preparation can be used for 28 days.
