Properties

What is it?

Composition: 1 gram of cream contains active substances: Clobetasol propionate 0.5 mg. Excipients: Paraffin, propylene glycol, chlorocresol, cetomacrogol, polyoxyl 40, hydrogenated castor oil, polyoxyl 15 hydroxystearate, cetostearyl alcohol, purified water. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Glucocorticosteroid for topical use. Indications: Psoriasis; eczema; lichen planus; discoid lupus erythematosus; skin diseases resistant to therapy with less potent topical glucocorticosteroids. The preparation is recommended for skin lesions accompanied by weeping and pronounced inflammation. Dosage and administration: Derilaife cream is for external use. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin 1-2 times daily until a therapeutic effect is achieved. Treatment should not exceed 4 weeks without reassessment of the need for continuation. If therapy needs to be continued, it is recommended to use less potent preparations. In particularly resistant cases, the anti-inflammatory effect of Derilaife can be enhanced by applying a polyethylene dressing overnight after application of the preparation. Side effects: Prolonged use of topical glucocorticosteroids in high doses or application to large areas of skin may lead to systemic absorption with subsequent development of symptoms of hypercorticism. The risk of developing these complications is increased in children, especially when using occlusive dressings. Prolonged treatment with the preparation in high doses can cause atrophic changes in the skin, particularly thinning, striae, and dilation of superficial blood vessels, especially with occlusive dressings and when applying the preparation to skin folds. Skin pigmentation and hypertrichosis may develop, rarely - pustular psoriasis. Sometimes Derilaife may cause exacerbation of disease symptoms. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation; rosacea and perioral dermatitis; skin cancer; prurigo nodularis of Hyde; perioral dermatitis; perianal and genital itching; bacterial, viral, and fungal skin diseases, such as herpes simplex, chickenpox, tuberculosis of the skin, actinomycosis, etc.; generalized plaque and pustular psoriasis; age under 1 year; lactation period. Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25C, out of reach of children. Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacture. Do not use after the expiry date. Pharmacy dispensing conditions: Over-the-counter.
