What is it?

Dermasis W Composition: Sterile Type I Collagen Dressing with not less than 90% collagen content (excipients: 70% isopropyl alcohol and water). Indications: - Second-degree burns, non-infected burns, superficial and deep burns - Third-degree burns - as a temporary cover after escharectomy/tangential excision - Skin grafting (donor site) - Chronic ulcers - stasis or arterial, pressure sores (non-deep), leprous ulcers, dermabrasion, traumatic defect of skin cover, open fractures. Instructions for Use: Before Application: Clean the wound with saline solution. If infection is present, it needs to be managed. Remove necrotic tissue. Ensure hemostasis on the donor site. Application: Remove Dermasis W, gently squeeze to remove preservative, and rinse in saline solution. Apply the dressing firmly to the wound surface to ensure good adhesion and to expel air from the wound area. Dermasis W can be applied on both surfaces. After Application: The use of a secondary dressing is at the physician's discretion. Dermasis W is delaminated after epithelialization. If Dermasis W adheres poorly to the injured area, moisten the indicated area with a saline-soaked swab for a few minutes to facilitate removal. Notes: Repeated application of Dermasis W may not be necessary if it is not removed due to excess fluid and complications. For chronic skin ulcers, Dermasis W dressing can be used at 3-4 day intervals. Dermasis W dressing promotes healthy granulation of deep wounds in the early stages. Precautions: Avoid using Dermasis W dressing in individuals with hypersensitivity to collagen. Incised wounds may cause Dermasis. Store in a dry place, protected from light, out of reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 40°C.
