What is it?

Composition Clotrimazole B.P. 1.00%w/w Beclometasone Dipropionate B.P. 0.025%w/w Gentamicin Sulfate B.P. equivalent to Gentamicin 0.01%w/w Preservatives: Colocresol B.P. 0.01%w/w Bronopol B.P. 0.025%w/w Cream base q.s. Pharmacological Properties Dermoclin exhibits: • Anti-inflammatory • Anti-pruritic • Vasoconstrictive • Antifungal • Antibacterial action Beclometasone Dipropionate: Is a synthetic corticosteroid, possessing anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, antiexudative, and anti-pruritic effects. Clotrimazole: Is an imidazole group antifungal agent for topical use. It inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a component of the fungal cell membrane. It has a broad spectrum of activity. It is active against dermatophytes, molds, Candida group, Malassezia furfur. Clotrimazole is also active against Corynebacterium minutissimum, Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Trichomonas vaginalis, Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum, Microsporum canis. Gentamicin: Is a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the aminoglycoside group. It acts bactericidally. By actively penetrating the bacterial cell membrane, it irreversibly binds to bacterial ribosomes, thereby disrupting the synthesis of pathogen protein. It exhibits high activity against Gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Shigella spp., Salmonella spp., Klebsiella spp., Serratia spp., Providencia stuartii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus mirabilis, Citrobacter spp., Haemophilus influenza. It is also active against Gram-positive bacteria: Staph. spp., Strep. spp. Indications - Tinea pedis - Epidermophytosis - Neurodermatitis - Eczema - Dermatitis - Tinea pedis - Tinea cruris - Purulent skin diseases - Otomycosis - Vaginal candidiasis - Interdigital and other fungal lesions of smooth skin. Dosage and Administration Apply the cream in a thin layer to the affected area 2 times a day (morning and evening). In gynecology, use in the form of tampons 2 times a day. Duration of treatment: 2-4 weeks. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Tuberculosis and viral diseases. Storage Conditions and Expiry Date Store in a place inaccessible to children at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Expiry date: 3 years
