What is it?
Composition: Active substance: Clobetasol propionate-0.05g. Indications: Clobetasol is a highly active topical glucocorticosteroid for local use, intended for use in adults, the elderly, and children over 1 year of age to relieve inflammatory manifestations and itching in dermatoses that are sensitive to glucocorticosteroid treatment, namely: psoriasis (except for generalized plaque psoriasis); eczema (various forms); lichen planus; discoid lupus erythematosus; skin diseases resistant to treatment with less active glucocorticosteroids. Contraindications: Clobetasol is contraindicated in the following conditions: untreated skin infections; rosacea; acne vulgaris; pruritus without inflammation; perianal and genital itching; perioral dermatitis; Derovait is contraindicated in children under one year of age for dermatoses, including dermatitis. Method of administration and dosage: Ointment: Effective for dry, lichenified, and scaly lesions. Adults, the elderly, and children over 1 year of age: Apply a thin layer and gently rub the required amount of the preparation onto the affected skin areas 1 or 2 times daily until improvement occurs, for no more than 4 weeks. Then, the frequency of use should be reviewed or treatment should be switched to less potent preparations. Storage conditions: Store in a place protected from light, at a temperature of 15C to 25C, out of reach of children. Expiration date: 2 years, the preparation cannot be used after the expiration date. Description: Homogeneous white or almost white translucent ointment.
