What is it?
60 mg Gliclazide Indications: Diamicron MR lowers blood sugar levels Diamicron MR is used in adults to treat non-insulin-dependent (type 2) diabetes mellitus when blood sugar control cannot be achieved by diet, exercise, and weight loss alone. Dosage: The usual recommended dose is half a tablet to 2 tablets once daily, with breakfast (not more than 120 mg). Contraindications: If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the active substance or any of the excipients of Diamicron MR or to similar drugs of the same class; If you have insulin-dependent (type 1) diabetes; If you have ketones (protein) and sugar in your urine (may indicate it is related to diabetes), in case of diabetic coma; If you have severe kidney or liver failure; If you are using a medicine to treat fungal infection Pregnancy and lactation: Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine. The use of Diamicron MR is not recommended during pregnancy. The use of Diamicron MR is not permitted during lactation. Storage conditions: Should be stored at room temperature not exceeding 30 0C, in a dry place
