Properties

What is it?

Composition: 1 capsule contains Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 50 mcg (2000 IU). Vitamin D3 is an essential component of the human diet. It is an anti-rachitic agent that replenishes Vitamin D3 deficiency. It participates in the regulation of calcium-phosphorus metabolism, enhances calcium absorption in the gastrointestinal tract and phosphate reabsorption in the kidneys, promotes bone mineralization, and is necessary for the normal functioning of the parathyroid gland. Clinical studies have established that Vitamin D3 participates in the regulation of cell proliferation, metabolic processes, and the stimulation of certain hormones. Indications: Vitamin D deficiency; decreased immunity; osteoporosis (bone disease); disorders of calcium and phosphorus metabolism. Dosage and Administration: Recommended doses of Vitamin D for individuals with vitamin deficiency or at risk of deficiency: Adults and the elderly: 2000 IU daily by weight from September to April. 2000 IU daily by weight, year-round if adequate Vitamin D synthesis is not ensured in summer. Over 65 years old: 2000 IU daily by weight, year-round, as the skin's ability to synthesize Vitamin D decreases in this age group. Overweight adults and the elderly: 1600-4000 IU daily, year-round. Individuals with darker skin: 1000-2000 IU daily by weight, year-round. Night shift workers: 1000-2000 IU daily by weight, year-round. Vitamin D intake is of great importance for individuals suffering from bone diseases such as osteoporosis, osteopenia (a deficiency of minerals in the bones, which in turn is the beginning of osteoporosis development). Osteomalacia (insufficient bone mineralization) occurs in individuals with Vitamin D deficiency, which causes impaired calcium absorption from the intestines, leading to calcium deficiency. High-dose Vitamin D intake is also important for individuals with kidney diseases. Taking Difelol concurrently with sun exposure does not create a risk of overdose. Dosage selection is made by a doctor individually, based on the degree of Vitamin D3 deficiency in the body and the reaction to the administered dose. The preparation is taken independently of food. Special Instructions: The preparation is used as prescribed by a doctor and under their supervision. It is not recommended to take it otherwise. It is not intended for parenteral administration. Possible Side Effects: In case of any side effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Storage: Store at room temperature, in a dry, cool place, inaccessible to children. Expiration Date: Indicated on the packaging. Pharmacy Release: Over-the-counter.
