Instructions for Use NITOLIC® with removal comb – Medical device for the treatment of head lice (Pediculushumanus capitis). NITOLIC® spreads quickly and evenly on the scalp and thoroughly covers lice (O-effect technology). It covers the breathing pores of lice, thus destroying them quickly. 100% effectiveness against head lice and nits at all stages of their development. The main characteristic of the medical device for treating head lice is its quick and even spread on the scalp and hair, which is ensured by O-effect® technology. The human head louse lays eggs (7-10 nits per day) close to the scalp, at the base of the hair. (During its life cycle, it can lay up to 300 eggs). Nits resemble small (approximately 0.8 mm) yellow, reddish, or brownish oval dots with a special valve on the shell from which the louse hatches. NITOLIC® is proven to be 100% effective against louse eggs, causing suffocation and dehydration of the young embryo and stopping its further development. Head louse life cycle Day 0 - Egg laying 7-8 days - Hatching of lice 8-16 days - Development of lice (3 stages) 17-19 days - Reproduction 19-32 days - Egg laying 33-35 days - Natural end of life Eggs are laid by the female at the base of the hair, close to the scalp, and are firmly attached to the hair. The life cycle of a head louse is approximately 40 days, however, they cannot survive outside the human head for more than 24-28 hours. NITOLIC® removal comb will help you remove lice and their eggs (nits) after treatment. Instructions for Use Important notes: To completely eliminate lice and prevent re-infestation, treatment should be carried out simultaneously for all family members who have lice. Lice treatment should be done under good lighting. It is important that the treatment extends from the roots of the hair to the tips. For effective treatment, apply NITOLIC® thoroughly to the scalp and hair. First – behind the ears, at the nape of the neck, on the neck, and then – around the hairline. 1. For long hair, divide the hair into four sections – front to back and ear to ear. 2. Apply NITOLIC® completely, to dry hair, over the entire volume of the scalp and hair, from roots to tips. First, apply behind the ears, at the nape of the neck, and around the hairline. 3. Saturate the hair and scalp with NITOLIC® to ensure all lice and nits are covered. 4. After application, cover the head with a shower cap for 1 hour. (Warning! Follow the instructions and observe the exposure time). 5. Remove the shower cap and wash hair with shampoo and water. 6. Remove lice and nits from the hair using the NITOLIC® comb. Combing instructions: Divide long hair into sections and secure each section. Lift a small part of a large section of hair so that the scalp is visible. Start carefully combing the section of hair. Run the NITOLIC® comb tightly from the roots to the tips of the hair. Re-secure the section of hair after finishing combing. Rinse lice and nits from the teeth of the NITOLIC® comb with a cloth.
