What is it?
Composition: The active substance is etofenamate. 1 gram of gel contains 100mg of etofenamate. Excipients: propylene glycol, carbomer, 2-propanol, macrogol glycerol cocoate, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate, sodium hydroxide, purified water. Indication: Dolo-Denk gel is used topically to relieve pain and inflammation caused by musculoskeletal, joint, and soft tissue diseases. It is used to relieve pain in the following cases: blunt trauma, for example, acute sprains, strains, or contusions of the limbs caused by sports injuries. For pain in the soft tissues around the joints (e.g., joint capsule, tendon, ligament, or joint capsule). For example, Dolo-Denk gel can be used for muscular rheumatism, muscle strain, painful stiffness of the shoulder (scapulohumeral periarthritis), lumbago, sciatica, tendovaginitis, bursitis. Dolo-Denk gel also has a similar effect on painful soft tissue diseases caused by severe tension and age-related degeneration of the spine and joints (arthrosis, spondylosis). Contraindications: Dolo-Denk gel should not be used in the following cases: hypersensitivity to etofenamate, flufenamic acid, and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or other substances contained in Dolo-Denk gel; on open wounds, inflamed or infected skin, eczematous lesions, or mucous membranes; in the last trimester of pregnancy; in children and the elderly; Dolo-Denk gel is not used in children and the elderly due to insufficient clinical data for these age groups. Special precautions when using Dolo-Denk gel: if the patient suffers from asthma, fever, nasal polyps, chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, or chronic respiratory infections (especially if associated with symptoms similar to allergic rhinitis). Also, if the patient experiences hypersensitivity reactions, such as skin reactions, itching, or rash, to other substances. Care should be taken to avoid getting Dolo-Denk gel into the eyes. Care should be taken to prevent children from touching areas where the preparation has been applied. Interactions with other medicines: When Dolo-Denk gel is used correctly, no data on interactions with other preparations are available. Inform your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including over-the-counter medications. Pregnancy and lactation: Pregnancy: Dolo-Denk gel should only be used in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy after consulting a doctor. Dolo-Denk gel should not be used in the last trimester of pregnancy, as complications for the mother and child cannot be ruled out. Lactation: Since a small amount of etofenamate passes into breast milk, it is not advisable to use Dolo-Denk gel for prolonged periods, and the daily dose should not be exceeded. To prevent the baby from ingesting the preparation, breastfeeding mothers should not apply it to the breast. Storage of Dolo-Denk gel: Store in a cool place, out of reach of children.
