What is it?
Composition: 1 ml of suspension contains active substance: Domperidone 1 mg, Simethicone 4 mg. Excipients: Sucrose, Citric acid monohydrate, Sorbitol solution 70%, Sodium carboxymethylcellulose, Pineapple flavor, Polysorbate 80, Sodium methylparaben, Sodium propylparaben, Titanium dioxide, Purified water. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Agents for functional gastrointestinal disorders. Indications - Complex of dyspeptic symptoms, often associated with delayed gastric emptying, gastroesophageal reflux, esophagitis (feeling of fullness in the epigastric region, bloating, upper abdominal pain, belching, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, and regurgitation); - Vomiting and nausea of functional, organic, infectious origin, caused by radiotherapy, medication intake, or dietary indiscretion; - Vomiting and nausea caused by dopamine agonists (such as L-DOPA and bromocriptine) during the treatment of Parkinson's disease. - Vomiting syndrome, cyclical vomiting, gastroesophageal reflux, and other motility disorders in children. Dosage and administration Oral suspension. Shake the suspension bottle before use. In adolescents and children over 12 years of age: For chronic dyspepsia, 10 ml of suspension is prescribed 3 times a day, 15-30 minutes before meals and, if necessary, before bedtime. For nausea and vomiting, 10-20 ml of suspension is prescribed 3-4 times a day, before meals or before bedtime. In children under 12 years of age: For chronic dyspepsia, 2.5 ml of suspension per 10 kg of body weight is prescribed 3 times a day, before meals and, if necessary, before bedtime. For nausea and vomiting, 5 ml of suspension per 10 kg of body weight is prescribed 3-4 times a day, before meals and before bedtime. The maximum daily dose of domperidone in Doprocin-H should not exceed 80 mg (80 ml of the preparation). Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation; - Gastrointestinal bleeding; mechanical obstruction or perforation, when stimulation of gastric motor function may be dangerous; - Pituitary prolactin-producing tumor (prolactinoma). Storage conditions Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Shelf life 3 years from the date of manufacture. The preparation can be used within 15 days after opening the bottle. Do not use after the expiry date. Dispensing from pharmacy: Group II, Form #3, by prescription.
