What is it?
DORAMYCIN 1.5 MILLION IU Description: Round, biconvex, film-coated tablets, with "DOღA" engraving on one side and a dividing score on the other. Tablet core: yellow-white color. Coating: white or off-white. DORAMYCIN 3 MILLION IU Description: Round, biconvex, film-coated tablets, with "DOღA" engraving on one side and a dividing score on the other. Tablet core: yellow-white color. Coating: white or off-white. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antibacterial agents. Macrolide group. Indications for use: Infectious-inflammatory diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to the drug. Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to spiramycin and other components of the drug. - Severe liver function impairment. Dosage and administration: Adults: 2-3 tablets of 3 MILLION IU (6-9 MILLION IU) per day, divided into 2 or 3 doses. The maximum daily dose is 9 MILLION IU. Children: 1.5 MILLION IU/10 kg body weight per day, divided into 2 doses. For acute bronchial and pulmonary diseases in adults: 1.5 MILLION IU every 8 hours (4.5 MILLION IU per day), in severe cases, the dose can be doubled. For prevention of meningococcal meningitis: Adults: 3 MILLION IU every 12 hours for 5 days. Children: 0.75 MILLION IU per 10 kg body weight every 12 hours for 5 days. Patients with impaired kidney function do not require dose adjustment due to low renal excretion. Storage conditions: Store in a place inaccessible to children at a temperature not exceeding 25 C.
