What is it?
Name - Edenight 0.4%+4.5% 5g Eye Ointment:Edenight is a sterile hypertonic ophthalmic ointment used for temporary relief of symptoms of corneal edema, such as visual disturbances and pain, even at night. Due to its high sodium chloride content, Edenight has a higher osmolarity than tear fluid: this difference is essential for the reabsorption of edematous fluid. The use of Edenight leads to an increase in salt concentration in the tear film and, consequently, to the expulsion of water from the corneal layers to the surface. Sodium hyaluronate contained in Edenight forms a protective shield on the corneal surface, providing protection and hydration. Sodium hyaluronate also makes the use of the hypertonic ointment more comfortable thanks to its lubricating and mechanical protective properties. How to use Edenight: Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before using the product; When opening Edenight, do not use the first part of the ointment, which may be watery, until the ointment comes out of the tube; Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a pocket. Hold the tube vertically above your eye. Gently squeeze the tube to place a small amount of Edenight in the eye to be treated. Apply a small amount of ointment, preferably before bedtime. If an additional daily dose is needed, apply a small amount of ointment every three to four hours or as directed by your doctor. Make sure the tip of the tube does not touch your eyes or fingers. Close the cap tightly after use. Storage conditions Store at a temperature between 9°C and 25°C, in a dry place protected from heat and direct sunlight
