What is it?
Composition and Dosage Form: Suppositories for children: 10 pcs. per pack. 1 supp. Paracetamol --------------- 80 mg 1 supp. Paracetamol --------------- 150 mg 1 supp. Paracetamol --------------- 300 mg Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Non-narcotic analgesic Indications: Indicated for acute respiratory diseases, influenza, childhood infections, post-vaccination reactions, and other febrile infectious-inflammatory diseases. Dosage Regimen: Suppositories 80mg: For children weighing 6-8kg (3-5 months old), use 1 suppository 3-4 times daily at 4-6 hour intervals. Suppositories 150mg: For children weighing 10-14kg (1-3 years old), use 1 suppository 3-4 times daily at 4-6 hour intervals. Suppositories 300mg: For children weighing 20-30kg (5-10 years old), use 1 suppository 3-4 times daily at 4-6 hour intervals. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation; impaired liver and kidney function; suppositories 80 mg are not used in children under 3 months of age; suppositories are contraindicated in inflammation or bleeding of the rectum. Storage Conditions: Eferalgan suppositories 80mg and 150mg are stored at a temperature not exceeding 15°C. Shelf life is 5 years. Eferalgan suppositories 300mg are stored at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, shelf life is 3 years. The preparation should not be used after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
