What is it?
Composition: Each gram of Elenion Plus cream contains 0.05% Tretinoin USP in a cream base. Indications: Local treatment of acne, skin whitening or rejuvenation. Dosage and Administration: Treatment should not be started arbitrarily. Apply once daily, before bedtime. The physician may advise the patient to use it every other night, especially for sensitive skin. First, wash the face with a mild soap and gently pat it dry. After 20-30 minutes, apply half an inch or less of cream. It is important that the skin is completely dry. The cream is absorbed almost immediately and becomes invisible. If cream remains, it means the quantity is excessive. Elenion Plus cream should be applied to the affected area on the forehead, chin, and both cheeks. Then, it is spread over the affected areas. It is not advisable to use more of the preparation or more frequently than recommended by the doctor. Side Effects: Skin irritation, dryness, burning, redness, excessive peeling. If these effects develop, discontinue use of the preparation and consult a doctor. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to tretinoin or any ingredient of the cream. Do not use on skin damaged by wind or sun, or on open wounds, as well as near the eyes or lips, or in the nasal cavity. If the patient has ever had skin cancer or a similar predisposition in the family. The patient has used skin peeling agents. Special Instructions: Elenion Plus is a facial whitening and skin rejuvenating cream that improves skin appearance, tone, reduces lines, wrinkles, and roughness. It is used to treat acne, reduces the number and severity of pimples, and promotes their rapid healing. Skin condition improves within 6-8 weeks of use. The patient should avoid frequent washing and cleansing of the affected areas. During treatment, exposure to artificial rays, solarium, ultraviolet, and sun rays should be limited. If the patient has to be in the sun, they should use a sunscreen with a sun protection factor of 15 or higher, wear protective clothing, and a wide-brimmed hat. In case of sunburn, discontinue tretinoin cream until the skin heals and returns to its normal state. Cold weather and wind can irritate skin treated with Elenion Plus cream. Pregnancy and Lactation: Do not use if the patient is pregnant, suspects pregnancy, or is breastfeeding. Appearance and Packaging: 20 g cream in a laminated tube, along with an insert leaflet, is placed in a box. Storage Conditions: Store in a dry, cool place, inaccessible to children.
