What is it?
Composition: Methyl ethyl pyridinol hydrochloride. Pharmacotherapeutic group Medicines for eye diseases. Antiaggregants, antihypoxants, and antioxidants. Angioprotectors, microcirculation correctors. Indications for use The preparation is used in adults for the following diseases and conditions: - Hemorrhage in the anterior chamber of the eye (treatment); - Scleral hemorrhage in elderly individuals (treatment and prevention); - Corneal inflammation and burns (treatment and prevention); - Complications of myopia (treatment); - Protection of the cornea (when using contact lenses); - Protection of the retina from high-intensity light exposure (laser and sun burns, laser coagulation). Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to methyl ethyl pyridinol or other components of the preparation; - Pregnancy. Method of administration and dosage: for topical use only. The preparation is instilled into the conjunctival sac, 1-2 drops, 2-3 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-30 days. If necessary and with good tolerance, the course of treatment can be extended up to 6 months. The course of treatment can be repeated 2-3 times a year. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent microbial contamination of the vial contents. Special instructions: If it is necessary to use in combination with other ophthalmological preparations, Emoprox is used after complete absorption of the previous medicinal product (not less than 10-15 minutes later). Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, out of reach of children. Shelf life: 2 years from the date of manufacture. After opening the vial, the preparation should be used within 10 days. Do not use after the expiry date. Dispensing conditions from pharmacy: Pharmaceutical product group III – used without a doctor's prescription.
