What is it?
Composition: Active substance: Ketorolac tromethamine 4mg/ml. Excipients: Benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, sodium chloride, octoxynol, hydrochloric acid, purified water. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Anti-inflammatory, non-steroidal agent for topical ophthalmic use. Indications: Keratitis, uveitis, keratoconjunctivitis, allergic conjunctivitis, post-traumatic inflammation, reduction of swelling, dry eye syndrome. Relief of pain and reduction of severe ocular symptoms after photorefractive keratectomy. Relief of discomfort in the postoperative period of cataract surgery by reducing pain. Effective treatment of burning, stinging, sticky eye, tearing, and pain developed after corneal refractive surgery. Dosage and administration: 1 drop 4 times a day. Side effects: Temporary eye irritation: redness, foreign body sensation, blurred vision. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Pregnancy and lactation. Children under 3 years of age. Special instructions: The preparation is for topical ophthalmic use only and not for injection. If wearing contact lenses, instill after removing the lenses. If used with other eye preparations, the interval between instillations should be 15 minutes. Overdose: In case of overdose, rinse the eye with plenty of water. Appearance and packaging: Eye drops, 5 ml bottle, clear solution. Storage conditions: Store the preparation at a temperature not exceeding 25C. Valid for 4 weeks after opening. Shelf life: 24 months.
